dscn1354.jpgIt will be the 20th annual Duck Race at Trotton on Sept 15th, and once again the major businesses in West Sussex will be competing for that elusive trophy – The Best Dressed Duck! For many the best dressed duck is one garnished with orange, but to the true afficionado there is no comparison with the Trotton Duck.

Look out for the dark horse on the rails, or perhaps the dapper duck in the shadows, perfectly fitted out for Ascot - no racing in the Rother for one, it has to be the sport of kings

The Goodwood Revival has been an amazing success with tickets selling out far in advance of the actual event – what a way to succeed in marketing!

But when you go, you must dress to period ie the 50s, which means dressing to impress. Not difficult for a man – carefully choosing tweed jacket, cavalry twills for trousers, brown shoes, and not forgetting the driving gloves - but a nightmare for ladies. Trying to get the corsetted 50s ladies look can be very painful.
